Granny’s Christmas Fun Day
I am so excited! Granny’s Christmas fun day is about to begin. This is that time, when I put the world on hold for a day or two. It’s my time to focus on the Grandkids and family. Hmmm….don’t you just love this time of year?
Time To Bake
We will be having 2 of the Grandgirls help for a whole week. I can’t wait. The smell of goodies will fill the little RV kitchen as they bake. Our first thing in the oven will be the “Double Trouble Bars.” We call them that because the kids will always sneak a couple extra and get caught. It makes for a fun game of, “Granny Got ya,” and the giggles start.
We have so much fun baking. I want you to have fun to so I decided to share. I hope you enjoy making these.
Double Trouble Bars
1/2 c. Butter 1 1/2 c. Graham Cracker Crumbs
1 can Sweetned Condensed Milk 2 c. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 c. Peanut Butter Chips * you can add 1 c. peanuts (option)
Place butter into a 13x9x2 baking pan. Bake at 350 until melted. Remove from oven . Sprinkle cracker crumbs then sprinkle with all the chips. Press them down firmly. Then pour sweetned milk over the top. Bake for 30 minutes at 350. Let it cool before cutting. They are so easy pesy!
The kids love to put the Graham Crackers in zip locks and smooshing them…so much fun. Some times we add more fun to the bars by putting M&M’s on top or even chopped up cranberries.
Now your turn
We hope you have a great time baking. Tell us all about it. Keep an eye out and we will post sugar cookiees real soon.
Merry Christmas from the little RV. Dont forget….”Enjoy living life in your own groove.”
